Business Definition
This metric tracks the total number of notes with the note action of Qualifying Call entered by Bullhorn users within the selected reporting period. A Qualifying Call is a specific Note Action type used to document the qualifying conversation with a candidate. This metric provides insight into recruiter activity and early-stage candidate engagement.
Note: Only notes with the action type Qualifying Call are included. All other note types are excluded.
How to use it

Rules & Criteria:
- Each note is counted as a distinct NoteID to ensure accurate tracking and avoid duplication.
- Only notes with Note Action Type = Qualifying Call are counted. Any notes with a different or missing action type should be excluded.
- The metric uses the note creation date to determine inclusion in the reporting period.
- Each qualifying call note entry is counted in this metric which means multiple qualifying calls for the same candidate are all included.
Recognition:
- All: The user listed as the Note Author receives credit for the qualifying call regardless of team/role.
Call Out:
- In Bullhorn Analytics, the term ‘Contact’ is known as ‘Candidate’. That should not be confused with the generic term ‘Candidate’ used in this document. No filtering for Candidate is required.
