Live Opportunities represents the number of open sales opportunities that are active on a given reporting date. An opportunity is considered “LIVE” if it was opened on or before the selected date and has not been closed (Won or Lost) before that date. This metric provides a true snapshot of pipeline health by showing how many opportunities are actively in progress at any point in time.
How to use it
Use this metric to understand the size and status of the active sales pipeline. It is especially useful for assessing sales capacity, forecasting, and identifying workload distribution across accounts or teams for any specific day, week, month, or reporting period.

Rules & Criteria
An opportunity is considered Live if it is in an Open status group on the selected snapshot date.
The Opportunity Open Date must be on or before the snapshot date.
The opportunity must not be closed before the snapshot date.
This includes opportunities with no close date, or
Opportunities where the Close Date is on or after the snapshot date.
Only opportunities whose statuses fall under the defined Open stage list qualify.
Each opportunity is counted once, based on its unique Opportunity ID.
Opportunities with statuses classified as Closed-Won, Closed-Lost, or Closed as of the snapshot date are excluded.
Exclusions:
Opportunities with statuses categorized as Closed-Lost, Closed-Won, or Closed as of the snapshot date.
Any opportunities that have a close date earlier than the selected date.
